Airports Authority of India invites applications from candidates who are domicile of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Pondicherry and Lakshadweep islands  for the post of Junior Assistant (Fire Service) level at various Airports in the above States in Eastern Region.

Eligibility Criteria For AAI FIRE SERVICE

A) Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

B) Educational Qualification (as on 25.08.2022)

10th Pass and 3 years approved regular Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Fire with minimum 50% marks

OR

12th pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks 

C) Age (as on 25.08.2022)

Minimum age – 18 years
Maximum age – 30 years

There are relaxations in upper age limit for certain categories. Please see the detailed notification in this regard

D) Driving License :

Valid Heavy vehicle Driving License

OR

Valid Medium Vehicle License issued at least one year before the date of advertisement

OR

Valid Light Motor Vehicle License issued at least two years before the date of advertisement

E) Driving Test :

The driving test will be conducted on Light Motor Vehicle.  

Desirable Qualification & Experience :
Due weightage shall be given to a candidate possessing any one or
more (subject to maximum limit of the following)
a) Computer Science as subject at 12th class level ;
b) NCC B Certificate ;
c) Relevant experience in an aviation/regular/industrial fire service.
d) Basic Fire Fighting Training Course from AAI Fire Training Establishment ;
e) Sub Fire Officer Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

The selection process will consist of following stages:
1. Computer Based (Online) Test;
2. Certificates/ Documents verification;
3. Medical Fitness/Physical Measurement Test;
4. Driving Test;
5. Physical Endurance Test

The candidate who does not fulfill the eligibility criteria at any stage mentioned above will not be considered for next stage of selection process and therefore, will be disqualified from further selection process.

Application Fee :

Applicable only for Candidates belongs to UR & OBC category : Rs.1000
i. No application fee is required to be paid by Women/SC/ST/Ex-servicemen candidates / Persons with benchmark Disabilities (PwD) i.e., Differently abled person.
ii. Airports Authority of India will accept fee through online net banking / credit cards / debit cards only
iii. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances

How to apply For AAI FIRE SERVICE

1.Candidates are first required to go to the website https://www.aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment and click on the  carrers  link  to open up the On-Line Application Form.

2.Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature .  

Centres for Online Examination For AAI FIRE SERVICE :   

The computer based (online) examination will be conducted in venues across test centers in Kolkata, Patna, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar and Raipur.
Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India.
